Our project: planting 600 trees around the world
Planting a tree means taking concrete action to help absorb CO₂ and, in so doing, counteract climate change. Doing it programmatically, planting in agroforestry systems and in countries where there is a need to support economic and social development is the mission of Treedom, the world’s first web platform that allows people to plant a tree remotely and follow the project of which it is a part online.
Fumagalli Danilo ‘s fruit and vegetable company also became a supporter with the creation of the Fumagalli Forest, spread across Africa, Asia and South America. Our forest reached 600 trees planted over the course of two years.
Working in the fruit and vegetable industry, we have always had a natural sensitivity to environmental issues. This issue also depends on the personal initiatives and behaviors of each of us. That is why we decided to enthusiastically join Treedom’s project, planting our first trees in Kenya, Tanzania, Ecuador and Madagascar. Fruit and forest species will be planted and cared for by local women and farmers, benefiting the planet but also their working and living conditions

Over the years we have made boxes of fresh fruits and vegetables for various special occasions inside which was a postcard for the adoption of one of our forest trees. An alternative way to honor and thank our customers.
